Summary
Andrew didn't trust anyone, life had taught him that no act of kindness was free, that people decided to ignore anything that happened around them in order not to get involved.
That was before he met that kid at the library, a guy who had "problems" written on his forehead. Andrew knew kids like that, maybe Andrew could also call himself a problem, so he tried to ignore it even after they met at school, in the same classroom.
Only, after an unfortunate event, the boy was the only one who helped him and unlike what Andrew believed, he did not ask him for anything, he did not ask or demand an answer.
This alone caused everything Andrew knew to shatter.
Maybe he's not so alone after all, maybe he could finally allow himself to trust someone without the constant fear of being rejected.
Maybe he finally had someone.

Summary
As the plane soared through the clouds, the fear of flying transformed into something deeper: the nagging feeling that something wasn't right.
Then, everything stopped.
The noise disappeared. The conversations died down. The world seemed to freeze.
From the outside, the plane was still suspended in the air, but something was wrong. Very badly.
Andrew felt his uneasiness turn to panic. The silence was unnatural. Heavy.
Wymack and Kevin, sitting next to him, noticed it too.And then the plane seemed to vanish.
He felt a sudden emptiness, as if something had torn them from reality. Darkness enveloped him. His lungs stopped working for an eternal second.
And then, nothing.

Summary
Andrew no confiaba en nadie, la vida le había enseñado que ninguno acto de amabilidad era gratis, que la gente decidía ignorar cualquier cosa que pasara a su alrededor con tal de no involucrarse.
Eso fue antes de conocer a ese chico de la biblioteca, un tipo el cual tenía escrito en la frente "problemas" Andrew conocía a chicos como esos, quizás Andrew también se podría llamar así mismo un problema, así que trato de de ignorarlo incluso después de haberse encontrado en la escuela, en el mismo salon.
Solo que, después de un desafortunado evento, el chico fue el único que lo ayudó y a diferencia de lo que Andrew creía, este no le pidió nada, no pregunto ni exigió respuesta.
Esto solo hizo que todo lo que Andrew conocía se hiciera pedazos.
Quizás no está tan solo después de todo, quizás alfin podía permitirse confiar en alguien sin el miedo constante a que lo rechazaran.
Quizás alfin tenía a alguien.
