Summary
Something about Ranboo is different, and he has a hard time concealing it. It doesn't matter though, because he finally found a place he can call home, even if it is weird and confusing. But then, it suddenly does matter again, and Ranboo finds himself stuck in a dilemma he cannot possibly solve alone.

“Is there anything else, Ranboo?”
Ranboo closed his eyes. He saw it vividly against the back of his eyelids: the father of his foster family had entered the room. His son and Ranboo had both hidden on their beds. While he had – thankfully - been ignored, the father had turned to his son. And then it had happened. A flash of green, and Ranboo had seen a number over the boys head, counting down. There had been about 10 minutes on the timer. Ranboo had screamed and jumped up, gaining both their attention. He had a second to notice their terrified expressions before he had seen the timer go to “???”. From there, everything was darkness.
