Five-year-old Katsuki Bakugou marched ahead with his hands shoved in his pockets, shoulders squared like he owned the place. Behind him, Izuku Midoriya trotted to keep up, clutching his limited-edition All Might figure in both chubby hands.
“Kacchan, wait!” Izuku called, voice bright and breathless. “I’m gonna jump from the top of the slide this time! Just like All Might jumping off the building in episode twenty-three!”
"Deku, no!"
You see, Katsuki was five years old and already convinced that Izuku Midoriya needed full-time supervision.
When he marries him twenty years later, he does exactly that.

Izuku’s heart cracks so loudly he swears Katsuki must hear it.
“That’s not-” Izuku shakes his head, blinking fast. “You shouldn’t use me like that.”
Katsuki flinches this time.

After Izuku confesses to Katsuki and Katsuki has to reject him, their relationship starts to become more complicated. Izuku will always be there for him. Katsuki knows it all too well.

Summary
Like most things, Izuku didn’t particularly want to start his career as a vigilante. In the same way he didn’t want to go to school every day to quirkist teachers, or how he didn’t want to be the victim of bullying and assault daily, oh, and he especially didn’t want his mom to run off and abandon him.
But, there are laws and there are legalities, and in this day and age in Japan, his quirk status leaves more wiggle room than should be allowed.
vigilantism had a similar situation. The laws stating something along the lines of: ‘a person, or persons, who is caught practicing unauthorized quirk usage for heroic acts, disregarding self-defense, will be prosecuted and may be fined up to-‘. Yeah, yeah, blah blah, the important part there is ‘quirk usage’, and fortunately (or unfortunately) that didn’t apply to Izuku.

Or, an author who’s tired of unrealistic fics where a teenage vigilante is trying to keep too many secrets, and decided to write one for themselves.

Summary
Izuku’s mouth went dry, forcing him to swallow thickly. His throat felt tight, like the winding stems and vines flowering within him were threatening to suffocate him altogether. He opened his mouth before closing it, gaping uselessly as the burning frustration within him began to spill over.
Too many questions with answers Izuku didn’t want to confess his sins to. Too many fractured pieces he couldn’t bring himself to put back together. Not for anyone—and especially not Kacchan.
Not when Kacchan deserved so much better than whatever he had become.
OR: After losing the last embers of One For All due to an unfortunate incident on the frontlines, Izuku Midroiya rejected his alpha nature and sent himself into a self-induced mental health spiral. Katsuki Bakugou insists on helping him--but the more Izuku pushes him away, the more his body begins to revolt against him. When he starts spitting up flowers, Izuku's convinced this is the end. Katsuki refuses to let it be.
