Max sighed, running a hand through his hair.

Summary
When the car hit the barrier, the steering wheel snapped violently to the right, dragging his hands along with it. His right hand got caught between the wheel and the cockpit, and his left hand jerked upward so fast that his wrist bent at a sickening angle. Max could’ve sworn he heard the snap even over the sounds of the crash.
He isn’t actually sure he heard his bones break, but considering he’s currently sitting on the examination table with both arms wrapped in thick casts, he’s fairly confident he wasn’t completely wrong.
He has broken them.
Both of them.
At the same time.
Max has never felt more like an idiot than he does right now.
