    It’s the first time in a while that he doesn’t know what comes next. He’s dove into the water hundreds of times. Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.

    Steve fails. They lose.

    “Steve, how many loops have you been through?”

    His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.

    “I lost count.”

    AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.

     Today was, without a single doubt, the most peculiar day of Jaskier’s life.
     “I’m sorry,” he said to Yennefer, blinking up at her, very glad that he was seated on the side of the thin bed. “I think you just said that I’m pregnant.”
     The sorceress’s violet eyes harbored not an iota of humor. She crossed her arms under her ample bosom, and said, “You are pregnant.”
     “Pregnant with a magnificent bounty of well-crafted songs?”
     Her eyes narrowed. Under any other circumstances, he would have felt a mighty frisson of fear skittering down his spine. He was far too horrified of the words that rolled off her plump, red-painted lips next.
    “You are pregnant with a baby.”

    In which Jaskier discovers that he's mysteriously pregnant but wants the baby, Geralt finally learns to use his words after twenty years, Yennefer is so done with two idiots in love and their communication problems, and Ciri gains a new family.

    (The main story is complete at 10 chapters, but will be updated with codas about Geralt and Jaskier and their life following the events of the main story. Also features my art!)

    Struggling with the fallout of a bad break-up, Geralt is eventually lured out into the world again by Eskel, insistent that a house party hosted by Valdo Marx will help him shrug off whatever shadows have been stalking around his brain and holding him down for the past few weeks.

    Fleeing the noise and chaos by turning to the roof of the building, Geralt meets a man in a similar situation to his own: fresh out of a relationship and wanting to be anywhere else but at Valdo Marx's party.
