He leaned in, and Till for a second thought he was going for his lips before he brought his mouth instead to his ear. Over the babble of the crowd he said, philosophically, “D’you ever want to do something totally crazy, something just completely stupid?”
Till pulled back, surprised, and regarded the guy. Did he even count as a guy? He looked like a scruffy kid, though it was hard to tell his age - somewhere between fourteen and forty. He couldn't be that far on either extreme, surely. Till didn’t remember him being this intense the first time they met, though, and his eyes were still boring into Till’s.
“All the damn time,” he said, honestly.
