Summary
Out of reflex Reddington wet his lips. This felt strange – it wasn’t that Red hasn’t done an autopsy before; he knew what to do. Not as good as Mr. Kaplan or an actual M.E., but he knew his way around. But Ressler’s body was still a little warm and looked like it could open its cold, dead eyes any moment, and Red almost felt like this whole setting was far too intimate for the two of them.

Summary

As Jake waits for one of the Station's wealthy clientele to choose him for transformation, he's forced to live in an enclosed apartment with another sex worker, where an anonymous audience can watch everything the pair does and has full authority to command Jake and his new friend to indulge their every fantasy.
As Jake pleasures his clientele through a one-way holo-mirror, he's not sure what changes are in store for him. But one thing's certain: as he acclimatizes to his new position on his knees, his growing lust isn't the only thing expanding.

Summary
Every day, it felt easier and easier to get to the point he finished eating yesterday and think ‘Well, another bite couldn't hurt’. He started stumbling out of the mess hall almost every day, passing out as soon as he could fling himself into his groaning desk chair, and dozing until he was woken up an hour later by Wells asking him to try a new recipe. It became strangely normal to pass the time after work by getting boozy root beer floats at the ice cream parlor, to settle into a constant, low-grade fullness. It was easy to think he'd be there forever, putting out deceptive little sugar bombs and getting reports back about how well they were selling. Everything was blissful and time moved like thick toffee, so slow he hardly noticed how he was changing until it smacked him in the face.
