If there was one thing Yeonjun hated more than anything, it was growing up in a small, fishing town at the edge of Jeju Island. Sure, living in the sea seemed like an idealistic upbringing, but there was one person that made his life there insufferable—Choi Beomgyu. Growing up with Beomgyu meant he had to deal with his selfish, rude, and foul-mouthed behavior while simultaneously taking care of him due to his frail body. When Yeonjun finally has the chance to leave for the city, a twist of fate drags him back to the same, stuffy small town that he has to call home.

It started as a joke back in college. Soobin mentioning how nice it would be to get married for the tax benefits. Beomgyu agreeing swiftly.
But when Beomgyu agreed, he thought that he’d end up with Soobin. He didn’t think that the person he’d end up marrying was Yeonjun.
Or, Beomgyu and Yeonjun getting married for tax benefits, but slowly falling in love along the way.

Beomgyu's grip on his guitar loosened as he felt his lips quivering. It wasn't the first time someone talked badly and thought of his music as some trash, but whenever the younger boy decided to comment on it, it was breaking his heart. What he said wasn't even that harsh, but what mattered to him was that Taehyun was the one who said it.
He wasn't even aware that all of the songs Beomgyu wrote were dedicated to him.
