    The planet of Hyrule has known peace for decades. Princess Zelda has watched Link, her best friend and general of the Hylian military, explore neighboring planets, lead diplomatic missions, and defend their planet against possible attacks for years.

    But when a strange moon appears in the Hylian skies, shining with hostile light, Zelda is the first to volunteer to investigate. Link and his right hand man, Ganondorf, enlist their services alongside her. As the team begins to study the strange moon, they soon discover that it is filled not only with fearsome monsters, but an ancient evil that seems to call to the spirits of each one of them. Will they be able to neutralize the threat to protect Hyrule, or will the presence of the moon unleash a curse that has lain in wait for generations?

    Summary

    Cloud, now 27, enlisted in the military at the age of 15 with the hopes of joining the SOLDIER program. When that failed, he decided to make the best of a bad situation and stay as an infantryman in the Shinra military. However, when war broke out again between Shinra and Wutai, Cloud was sent to the front lines where he watched countless people die, including his best friend. It eventually led to his injury that got him discharged. Now, he's been forced to return to his home of Nibelheim and face his memories head on.

    Events of the game basically never happened.

    Warnings in advance for PTSD and depression. Anything depicted from Cloud's memories will not be overly graphic.
