Chan goes through the motions of cleaning himself on auto-pilot, keeping his mind carefully blank. Tries not to think about the reason why he’s doing this, why Changbin and Jisung all but picked him up the moment he came home, depositing him directly in the bathroom with instructions to clean himself up real well and shutting the door behind him.
It’s not that he’s anxious, far from it, far too trusting of his members — it’s just that he fears that if he thinks too much about the purpose of this, thinks about what’s going to happen once he comes outside of the shower, he’s going to melt into a puddle and slip through the shower drain before the hypotheticals get brought into reality, and well. The kids would probably get mad at him for that.

Minho’s arm shifts again.
Only a little. Only enough that his hand moves from where it had rested easily over Jisung’s chest, up, to his neck. His palm settles there easy, thumb and fingers splaying out effortlessly on either side of his jugular. He doesn’t do anything, doesn’t press. He doesn’t do anything more than simply rest his hand there.
It steals Jisung’s words away anyway.
