You had been seeing a lot of Kinich and Ajaw, the two of them often coming across you in the open fields of Natlan. Normally they were hunting down a bounty while you were just taking in the sights or fishing, just passing the time. At first, it was mainly seeing them flying through the air from a distance, quietly marveling at the talent that Kinich clearly possessed.
Over time it was like they gradually got closer in proximity until one day you were practically colliding into Kinich while you were walking through the open field. How you hadn’t seen him there you didn’t know, but there he suddenly was.
