Summary
Pete Wentz was once a famous author that took off from his novel that he wrote in college. Several years later, he sits uninspired and washed out, unable to write his next hit story.
One night, Pete dreams of a guy who he falls in love with. Hit with a spark of inspiration, Pete starts writing about the guy from his dreams, who he names Patrick. Pete spends his days writing about spending time with Patrick, until one day Patrick enters Pete's life as a real person with no realization that he is a fictional character Pete made.
(Directly inspired by the movie, Ruby Sparks).

Person B never wants to sleep with Person A. Person A thinks they might be cheating until they discover Person B becomes a merperson every night and has been going to the lake to transform safely. Person A eventually has a swimming pool built for Person B.

Summary
Lyrics shoved into bottles keep showing up in the ocean, and Patrick can't help but sing them once he reads them. It's not helped by the fact that he feels sorry for the human that writes them and throws them into the ocean nearly everyday. So when the lyrics start to come less frequently, Patrick begins to worry. What could have happened to this human named "Pete"? A suicide letter and a rescue mission later, and Patrick is willing to do anything to help this human.
A cursed bottle is all he needs, and the trade for his siren voice for a pair of human legs is struck. Too bad he failed to listen to all of the rules before making his deal.

“Let’s fuck in an art gallery,” Pete whispers against Patrick’s neck one night; it’s dark in the room, the only source of light coming from the crack underneath the door. Pete would have thought Patrick was asleep if Patrick didn’t shift a little, turning his head towards him. He catches Patrick’s amused smile, so he continues.
“I mean, you deserve to be pinned up against a wall,” He practically purrs, his voice low, and he presses a kiss to Patrick's neck. They’re laying side-by-side, and one arm is wrapped around Patrick’s shoulders, but his free hand is running up and down Patrick’s upper thigh. “You are a masterpiece.”
When Pete said it, he didn't think he would actually end up doing it. But what can he say- Patrick truly is a masterpiece, and he'd do anything to prove it.

Pete bit his lip and immediately nodded, taking the time to wipe his sweaty palms against his dress pants. He bumped the small velvet box in his pocket as he ran his hand up and down.
"Y-yeah I'm completely fine" Pete stuttered, visibly gulping. Patrick obviously seemed unconvinced but dropped it. He knew he wasn't going to get anywhere.
