"You missed out on the celebrations, I’m afraid."

When a letter from his family puts him in need of a midnight snack he attacks another ship they happen upon. After Klaus's victory he finds a girl floating in the open ocean and pulls her from the sea. She was meant to be loot - but finds himself instantly drawn to her and at a loss for how to proceed.
