Summary
Pentious had seen plenty of gnarly wounds in his time in Hell, but most of those injuries were on Sinners who would more or less regenerate given some time. He hasn’t had many opportunities to interact with the Hellborn, to study their particular anatomy. It’s fascinating, from a purely scientific standpoint. And he can’t help but wonder what exactly left this imp in such a rough condition…
“Hellfire.” Fizzarolli’s gaze stays trained on the floor. Pentious almost thinks he sees tears welling up in them, but it could be a trick of the light. Before he can question it, Fizzarolli’s face breaks into a wide, forced smile.
“Everyone says I’m lucky, though.”

Blitzø stretched his arms over his head, bending his back and cracking a concerning amount of bones. “What do you say, Feathers, wanna duck out of here early and grab some dinner?”
Stolas blinked, looked down at the stack of files he had meant to finish sorting through. Time had once again gotten away from him while the others were on their mission. He tried not to feel shame for it. “Oh, uhm. If that’s what you’d like.”
Blitzø saw the hesitation clear on Stolas’ face. “We can just grab takeout, keep it lowkey and spend the rest of the night in — a new episode of Hell-a-Novella just came out, right?”
Stolas still got flustered when presented with evidence that Blitzø listened to him.
