Summary
This was from my notes in my planning doc and I think they suit all intents and purposes of a summary:
- Caleb is jealous of how close Zayne is to MC (because Zayne's their primary care physician and only Caleb needs to know everything about their health, obviously). Zayne is his rival (one-sided). Worse, Zayne is MC’s tormentor (allegedly, by Caleb).
- Zayne notices literally nothing. He’s just happy his somehow used-to-be-dead friend is back, and that MC is healthy. Very no thoughts, head empty. (Or maybe he does know how Caleb resents him, and he elects to ignore it to stay clear-headed about treating MC and his own self-image)
- Caleb eventually gets so jealous that he starts to look into med school, quickly gives up, and looks into... other ways he can do MC’s check-ups. MC fears for their health as Caleb practices his “methods."Will Caleb cure cancer? Will Zayne finally get his childhood friend back, both body and heart? Will MC just fucking die after Caleb drowns them in essential oils?
Slight spoilers. He falls for a few MLMs (and I'm not talking about men-loving-men, which he will also do.)

Summary
Blips, boops, and bopping music sound softly through the living room. Pixelated characters hop around the TV screen, one more confidently than the other, solving puzzles together. The clicking of buttons follows their movements.
Zayne shushes his daughter once again when she squeals in glee at getting to the next level. "We need to keep it down, sweetheart, remember?"
She gasps, looking back at him with wide eyes. "Oh no, I forgot!" she tries to whisper. He's useless to stop her when she looks up to the ceiling and shouts, "I'm sorry! I'll be quiet now!"
He smiles. He has no doubts that woke his partner up, though he's sure Sylus won't mind. Not really. Not if it's their little girl doing the waking.
