Steve thanked the heavens as he approached. Dustin seemed relatively unharmed, upright and moving, but where was—
    "Steve, help!"
    Steve went breathless in shock, and this time his legs gave out completely, as he crumpled to the ground. Dustin wasn't crawling—he was doing chest compressions. And there, splayed before him in a mangled mess of torn skin and pooling blood, was Eddie.

     

    OR Steve saves Eddie’s life, but the aftermath leaves him shaken. With the town sealed off, they’re trapped in a new reality of quarantine, grief, and feelings that grow harder to ignore.
