Summary
Grime cakes under Yoshiki’s fingernails as he tries to dig his way out, to gain any leverage to lift himself up and out. Yoshiki is a mess of tears and dirt, trying to claw out of this trap as no noise is allowed to escape him.
"Help, please… someone… Hikaru…"
Waking with a start, Yoshiki now finds himself to be dry and in the comfort of his own bed, limbs wrapped tightly around a slumbering ‘Hikaru’.

“It’s yer fault, y’know,” Yoshiki sneers at the blubbering mess under him that is ‘Hikaru’, “you got yourself in this mess. How do ya plan to get yourself out of it?”
“I didn’t mean to,” ‘Hikaru’ whimpers from where he’s pinned, “didn’t mean to make ya mad. Can’t you just forgive me? I swear I won’t do it again!”
“Why would I do that? Why should I?” Yoshiki asks mockingly, not that any answer would suffice in place of an apology. Of course Yoshiki knows he’s not being fair, he’s not even being sane, but it’s clear that ‘Hikaru’ doesn’t understand one fundamental piece of whatever relationship exists between them.
That he belongs to Yoshiki, completely, truly, and utterly.
So, Yoshiki just needs to remind him of that fact, even if he loses himself a bit in the process.

Prince Gilbert von Beilschmidt of Brandenburg, terrified for his younger brother's soul, sends him to Rome to see that Luther’s teachings are nothing more than the devil tempting him.
In Rome, he meets Father Vargas.
And it’s there that he understands that true temptation came through a man with amber eyes and tan skin.
(Or the one where Ludwig gets fucked by an Italian priest six years older than him when in Rome and has an identity crisis.)
