Tommy caught a familiar voice from the other end of the aisle. He was talking to himself, muttering over a shopping list of his own and looking rather liked a harried parent.
“What the fuck does ‘red sauce’ mean? Ketchup? Salsa? And how many Eggos do we actually need?”
Tommy watched as the man held his hand over his eyes and take a deep, calming breath.
“Steve Harrington, as I live and breathe,” he said, trying his best not to sound like a girl with a highschool crush.
“Tommy, hey, man,” Steve started. “It’s been a while.”

Eddie doesn’t listen. Keeps talking over Steve, apologizing and cursing and apologizing some more, until finally Steve grips both of Eddie’s wrists in his hands and pushes him back again, this time against the wall. And Eddie doesn’t even register the fact that he definitely just hit his head on Wayne’s novelty Grand Canyon mug because suddenly Steve’s pressed himself against him from head to toe, and oh, that’s Steve’s dick, hard and hot against Eddie’s hip, and maybe, just maybe, he hasn’t completely ruined everything yet.
