She lied, lied about so many things, and it hurt more and more as that realization slowly sunk in. It burned in his chest, burned hotter than any fire he could wield and forced more heat to drain from his fingers. They were getting cold, his fingers.
Maybe it hurt more because he already knew but refused accept it. Dabi's words only forced him to finally acknowledge every theory he had in the past few months, forced him to take a step back and realize that Midoriya Inko, his mother, had lied about so many things while still never looking him in the eyes.
(Alternatively; Izuku is the secret aftermath of a mistake, Inko is not a stable person, Katsuki would go to jail for his best friend, Hitoshi just wants to be a hero, Shouto gets a brother, and I can't write summaries to save my life! Spoilers, It's a Todoroki!Izuku AU!)
