    When Sakura was young, it was something the doctors had told him he had. (With pen and paper, because it wasn’t something he’d be able to hear them say anyway.) But they didn’t give him much explanation after that, only that it was the reason to his… obscene… genetic traits.

    The two-toned hair, mismatching eyes, and most of all, his loss of hearing.

    Zanka cursed, yanking on the handle even though he knew it was a feudal attempt with the power being down and Shikage's automatic lock system in place. "Great, just great," he murmured to himself, glancing back at Rudo who still leaned against the wall, his chest heaving with anger and embarrassment. The room was cast in an eerie red glow from the emergency lights, highlighting the tension in the air.

    Rudo and Zanka get stuck inside and realise they like each other. One thing leads to another and Rudo is spilling the beans on how his hands became like how they are now. Zanka has some trauma too though. Boss man tries to heal Rudos hands. Rudo is also pregnant (nice touch)
