Summary
After 3 years of hospitalization (most of which was spent in a coma) and 4 years of being locked up at Tartarus, Shimura Tenko is released on parole into the streets of Japan at the age of 28, with no quirk and an ankle monitor that pulls on his leg hairs too often.
Every t is crossed and every i is dotted to ensure Tenko never breaches his toilet paper roll long list of parole conditions. That means therapy, a 9 to 5, and no funny business.
Unfortunately, Tenko just has to go save some loser from a would-be mugger and finds himself a new starry-eyed friend. And it doesn't help that every conversation with his... (sponsor? associate? parental guardian? former nemesis?)..whatever Yagi is, fills him with guilt.
______________Ultimately, this story is about insurmountable atonement and whether or not Tenko will allow himself to be happy in spite of it. There will be humor and fluff, but it’s also a serious character study of a broken man.
