Summary
Madeline Smith is a twenty-one year old journalist working for The Washington Post. Her daily routine of editing and publishing articles is relatively normal and monotonous - until a budding scientist visits her with the claim that he has invented time travel. Madeline is hesitant to believe this at first, but it turns out to be true. The possibilities that time travel opens up are endless - and The Scientist has one shining idea in mind. The Scientist employs Madeline to travel back in time and interview the legendary figure John Fitzgerald Kennedy. It would be the newspaper article to die for. However, something goes wrong and Madeline gets trapped in the 1960s. A tender romance slowly forms between the 35th U.S President and the journalist from the 21st Century.
