Summary
Aziraphale had made his way to the front door of the bookshop and opened the door hoping there was a split chance that Crowley hadn't left yet. Looking over to where the Bently was usually parked he was hit with the relief that Crowley was still in fact there... like perhaps he was waiting to see if Aziraphale would have changed his mind. But right as he was about to call Crowley's name a hand was placed on his shoulder. A familiar voice whispered into his ear, “Oh Aziraphale… you should have just accepted the offer.”
Then before he knew it everything became dark.
**Based on the coffee theory**
What if The Metatron had done something to Aziraphale's coffee, putting him into this trance like state where all he knows is to be loyal to heaven. But to The Metatron's surprise, the relationship Aziraphale and Crowley have is stronger than he anticipated and Crowley's sudden kiss altered the effectiveness of the miracle placed on him?

If there's anything Lucifer has learned from his sunshiney daughter, it's that you've gotta kill them with kindness!
Or: Lucifer learns physical touch really gets under Alastor's skin. To appease Charlie, he starts showering Alastor with hugs and the like whenever he pisses him off. That way, Charlie is none the wiser to what he's doing, and Alastor gets a taste of his own medicine.
..The problem begins when Alastor starts seeking him out for affection.
