Вскоре он закончил и водрузил конструкцию из венка и свечи на воду, снимая эту красоту на телефон. Он точно помнил, что если венок утонет, расплетется или если свеча погаснет- плохой знак. Кто венок поймает - тот и суженный. К его удивлению, венок плыл спокойно по воде, свеча горела ровно. А потом его кто-то поймал. А вот это беда.

Юань вообще, между прочим, был скептично настроен на всю эту муть с арканами, матрицами судьбы, ангельскими числами и таро. По правде говоря, он и в приметы то не сильно верил, что уж говорить про всё остальное. А потом ночью он просто листал ленту в маркетплейсе и, конечно, чертовы рекомендации на главной странице стали подсовывать ему различные варианты таро. Потом пошло поехало и он стал "по приколу" гадать. Ну и нагадал себе хуйни на голову. (Часть 1-я цикла "Гадание и к чему то ведет")

Yoojin had never truly regretted it.
Well, not quite. He had reconsidered it the first time, and the second time, and the third time and the many, many times after that. But it just paid so well, too well for him to ever consider seriously stopping. So he’d simply grit his teeth and got it along with and soon it just became another kind of normal, just another job in a string of taxing and thankless jobs that he could disassociate mid-way through the second he got on his back. There was no use regretting it and feeling sorry for himself, he’d thought, not when it allowed him to keep paying rent, to buy groceries, to keep Yoohyun safe and happy and well-fed.

Summary
Han Yoojin's life was marked by sacrifice and struggle.
As a no-good F-ranker failure of an older brother, he had been blindsided and ambushed by the monstrous dragon Lauchitas, only to lose his beloved younger brother Yoohyun in the process. While Yoojin stumbles and falls beside Yoohyun's lifeless body, determined to let himself fade away by his brother’s side so as to never leave him alone again, he’s choked with regret as his brother’s memories overlap with his own. His thoughts grow so loud that the world itself holds its breath so that it could listen.
Yoojin makes a final, pleading wish as he cradles his baby brother to his chest: to be strong enough to protect those he loved and never be a burden again.

Faking your death is remarkably easy, once you've truly put your mind to it, Han Yoojin discovers.
"Why can't you just live quietly hyung? Why do you always have to cause trouble?" Yoohyun asks him, exasperated, every time he has to drag Yoojin from a bar, or a dungeon, or whatever other trouble he's landed himself in.
