He sits at his desk with his sleeves rolled just a little too high, pen moving across reports he’s already read twice, and the words keep blurring, not because he’s tired, but because his mind refuses to stay where it belongs.
It keeps drifting, circling back to the same thing. It keeps treacherously and infuriatingly going to Neuvillette.
It starts with his scent, as it always does.
Even here, deep beneath the waters of Fontaine, surrounded by steel, seawater and the pressure of the waters that threaten to crush the Fortress itself, his memory recalls that sweet petrichor; clean and refreshing, and beneath it, the faint aroma of rainbow rose.
In the wake of a particularly intense rut, Wriothesley accidentally leaves his heart in Neuvillette's office.

Summary
Neuvillette, the infamous Lumidouce mafia head, enters Meropide prison cuffed and leaves the Warden, utterly undone. Ethereal, unreadable, and nothing like his reputation, Wriothesley finds himself obsessed with the prisoner. In a place hidden behind concrete walls and built to strip men of power, desire proves to be the most dangerous force of all.
“I had the impression that you dislike being touched?” Wriothesley breaks the silence with a smug smile.
“I do. If touched without my consent.“ Neuvillette’s voice is collected, face unreadable.
“So you don’t dislike being touched by me?”
“I don’t oppose the idea.”
For the first time since entering Meropide Prison, there’s a smile gracing Neuvillette’s face.

Summary
Before his eyes, Zhongli shattered into a million pieces of light.
It was blinding, and Childe covered his eyes in reflex. The light peeled away in layers, solidifying into three distinct figures.
One emerged broad-shouldered and frowning, with two horns atop his head that curled with amber tips; his very presence rattled the air. Gold kissed hands that looked more like claws, his white robes marked with dirt and ash.
Morax. The brutish God of War. From the beginning of Zhongli’s long life.
Another stepped out, with the same pair of horns as the other, clothed in regal finery, dark brown robes embroidered with threads of gold, similar to Zhongli’s current attire but far more elegant. His posture sharp, eyes cutting through the space immediately to Childe, lingering with an unnerving amusement.
Rex Lapis. The God of Commerce and Trade, the establisher of Liyue. A man for a taste of all things fine.
And in the centre, left kneeling and breathless, Zhongli himself—the man Childe knew—steadying his own balance, calm but pale.
→ In which, Zhongli is split into 3 versions of himself, and Childe is left to deal with the mess.
