Summary
Superheroes. Before he was Spider-Man Peter Parker was always infatuated with superheroes. As a kid he clinged to the idea that there could be something so untouchable and great that could do no wrong. There was something about someone who would always save the day when something went awry, someone who would keep all things right in an almost openly sacrosanct way. It was easy to believe that there's someone ready to jump to your rescue even in the most minuscule scenario. Too easy.
