It's that easy to fall, Ebisu realises, lying in a tangle of bicycle steel and limbs. The hard part is getting up again when there's nobody around to help.
The sun is setting over the quiet neighbourhood, with nobody in sight and phantoms lurking in the dark, hungry for prey. For a moment there's nothing but the whirring of the bicycle tires. Strangely enough, in one of the nearby houses, someone from the Near Shore has heard him.aka my take on Meiji-era teen Ebi's version of the Olive Ken lady
