Summary
It was a known fact amongst the Bakusquad that Kirishima had depression in middle school, however, none of them had ever seen him being anything other than positive and motivated since starting UA.
That was until winter came around at least.As Kirishima starts to isolate himself, falling back into bad habits, the squad try their best to support him.
It almost seemed like it was working before they were sent home for Christmas, when everything went wrong.Aka: Kirishima has seasonal depression and plummets during winter. The Bakusquad are worried about him, but Kaminari is the only one who is forced to drag his best friend back from the dead.
Although the plot is centred around Kirishima, it’s mostly told from Kaminari’s perspective, focusing on how the squad try to support Kirishima and how it effects them. -

Kaminari Denki, that’s the name the commission gave him. He had no name before, just a number, 7. He was number 7. The commission brought down his “family”, the people who trained him, hardened him, made him into what he is today, what he’s no longer allowed to be. He was twelve when the commission whisked him away, forced quirk suppressors down his throat, and gave him a choice. UA, or Tartarus. He chose the school, what else was he supposed to do?
Now, forced to hide who he was, forced on suppressors to keep his quirk at bay, and forced to wear a quirk restraint around his neck, this former child soldier, this former assassin, must navigate high school.
