He was a shit friend, and he still doesn’t know how to correct it to make things better. When Will left for Lenora, Mike felt like half of his soul was ripped out. How does he lose two people he cares about most about in the world in one swoop? Yes, losing El again sucked, but losing Will again, he felt like he lost part of himself. Mike’s entire life, it was always mikeandwill words said together so fast it felt like they’d be linked forever, until they weren’t. It became Mike. Will.
