And when all these elements come together, the result can be nothing short of pure, unbridled chaos. Such chaos would be difficult for anyone to navigate, much less a group of awkward teens who have to do so while sorting out their own personal feelings.
But surely they’ll manage it somehow, right?
Or: The casts of Ranma 1/2 and Dandadan collide at the start of their series and have to deal with all the trials and tribulations that come their way. With some minor elements from Urusei Yatsura thrown in for good measure.

Summary
After a long and exhausting training journey that culminated in boring disappointment at the place known as Jusenkyo, Ranma Saotome and his father return to Japan and prepare themselves to face exactly who they left behind.
Which means they're headed for the Tendo Dojo, home of his Uncle Tendo, and his childhood best friend and rival, Akane Tendo, who couldn't possibly have changed too much while he was gone!
And in the end, he has to face just how much knowing her can change him as well.

Summary
You know the standard set up. Ranma shows up and gets engaged to the youngest Tendo. But, for a change, said youngest Tendo has already figured out his own gender situation and is going by Akahiko now.
A little thing like that won't stop the fathers from their demands of the schools being united, however, and so will try to make a 'proper wife' out of Ranma.Thankfully Akahiko finds it as messed up as Ranma does and will back him in escaping the nonsense expectations.
