Summary
It is said that the world was blessed by benevolent spirits who watched over the death of two lovers, torn apart by their warring families. Their fate granted them a second chance at life by guiding soulmates to one another with the help of nature.
For as long as Kakashi has been alive, soul guides have been a part of Konoha’s culture. At sixteen, they ventured towards the forest a distance away from the village to be granted their soul guide. Soul guides, tied to their person's soul, leads them to their fated one. That is, if a person nurtures the bond and connection that they have with not just their soul guide but also by having faith in the bond they have with their soulmate.
Now as the Rokudaime, he lives his life without a soul guide, not even believing in the need for a soulmate. Until the spirits themselves push him toward a fate he only dreamed of when he was younger.

Summary
“You can do me a favor,” Tenzou said over the volume of the movie playing on the TV. It wasn’t a question, but a statement that seemed as if it’s been set in stone. Kakashi did not like that one bit. “You work for me. In my café. Days have been getting busier and we need that manpower.”
Despite running away from his own responsibilities as a conglomerate heir, Kakashi is left no choice but to work in Tenzou's café for the time being. After all, he's being sheltered for free by Tenzou. Although he knows nothing about being a barista or working in a café in general, he's determined to impress their (cute) regular, Umino Iruka, after he botched their first meeting—with a terrible cup of coffee.

“What are the charges?”
Kakashi smiled, twirling the band around his forefinger like a kunai. “Perjury and willful concealment.”
Iruka huffed and shook his head, lips thinning in a way that made Kakashi think he was holding back a grin. “You know, if I’d realized you had such a thing for long hair, I would have started wearing mine down years ago.”
Kakashi’s thumb caught the hair band, halting its revolution.
“Years?”
