"Prince Rhaegel was as meek as he was mad, and his children were...well, they are his children. Feeble things. To be feeble is even worse than to be mad. They never would have sat the Irone Throne. Especially not her."

Summary
Alyssa Flowers, the golden bastard of the Hightower, has always been an open secret, pressed close against her father's chest. When Lord Hightower is summoned to replace the late Ronnel Penrose as King Daeron's Master of Coin, it is only natural that he would bring his beloved daughter with him, away from his wife's and daughter-in-law's scornful gazes.
Prince Maekar does not want to look at this girl with flowers in her hair and flowers in her name. Should not look at her. But she makes it hard not to.
Prince Baelor knows that to trust the words of others rather than one's own judgement is a folly. That is the only reason he decides to see for himself whether the girl his wife's cousin writes about is really as wicked as she says.Starts in 207 AC and veers of into AU.

Summary
“Why do you love him so much?”
The question lingered between them, trembling and terrible. The firelight threw her shadow across the floor, fractured and long, and the faint creak of the inn whispered like a warning in the silence.
“Most men despise him. They fear him. They mock him behind closed doors. Some curse his very name.” She swallowed. “And yet you do not.”
Valarr closed his eyes briefly. There were a thousand answers, and none that would ease her pain. When he opened them again, his gaze was steady.
“Because I see him,” he said simply. Not the prince. Not the reputation. Not the whispers. “He has never been what they believe him to be.”

Summary
Valarr wanted more.
Gods forgive him, he wanted everything.
And then it was over. Aerion pulled away suddenly, breaking the kiss. The loss tore a cry from his throat before he could stop it.
He turned his face aside and drew the sheets up over himself, as though he could hide what had passed between them.
Valarr laughed softly. “No need to act shy now, Aerion,” he said. “You lived as a man for eighteen years, I'm sure you had your fair share of adventure.”
Aerion bit his lower lip. Silence stretched between them.
Then he looked at Valarr again. “It's my first time in a man's arms ...”
The words struck him like wildfire.
His belly burned. His length hardened further, thick and unyielding as marble. The air itself seemed to thicken, heavy with want. Something ancient and feral stirred within him, something older than crowns and laws and names. An animal instinct.
To claim him.
Body and soul.
(Chapter 2, Valarr I)-- Or, in which Aerion messes with dark magic to restore dragons to the world in an attempt to outshine his eternal rival, Valarr—but it backfires, and Valarr becomes a jealous mess.

Summary
Two hundred years ago, Aegon the Conqueror attempted to claim a land beyond the Sunset Sea and was driven back in flames.
Now, in the reign of Good King Daeron II, an emperor has crossed the sea with his daughters, his dragons, and a proposal that could change the world. Marriage pacts. Dragon eggs. A peace sealed in blood and fire.
But old wounds fester. Old hatreds burn. And in the shadows of Ashford Meadow, where lords and knights have gathered for a glorious tourney, darker games are being played.
Romances will blossom or burn.
A/N: Although they’re going to be multiple pairings, the story will mainly focus on Maekar.
