    2001: Steve Harrington, much to everyones surprise turns into a respected and successful scientist invents time travel.

    1986: Steve Harrington, wakes up in his 19 year body, for the first time his life feeling right again. He does his best to navigate his life 15 years ago to, except things dont go the way Steve remembers, first of all, he's in the same doomed timeline.
    Second of all he's pretty sure Vecna's on to him.
    But lastly, he doesn't remember being hit by Eddie's van in the middle of the highway.

    AKA: Steve Harrington invents time travel because eddie munson was never meant to die.
    Oh yeah, and possibly he's in love with him
