Summary
Evan Buckley has been running all of his life, trying to find his place in the world. Eventually, he ends up in L.A., finding a job as a science teacher at an elementary school. And the unthinkable happens - he settles down. He has amazing kids, his sister has left her abusive ex, and he is actually making new friends.
Eddie Diaz is going through the motions of life almost in auto-pilot. Christopher is his world, and he is more than happy to meet his kid's new teachers. He is especially curious to meet this 'Buck' Chris can't stop talking about. He is surprised when he realizes they have met once before, but glad to see Buck fights fiercely for his boy's rights.
