'Lena is struck by how perfectly, cheesily Hallmark this image is; a beautiful blonde, playing in the snow, red-faced and grinning beneath an obviously homemade knit hat. Her glasses are nowhere to be found, probably tossed somewhere in the struggle, and her eyes are so damned blue they put the sky above to shame. Lena doesn’t realize she’s been staring until Kara is standing directly in front of her, crouched so she can meet Lena’s eyes, concern knitting her brow. “Are you alright? You kinda zoned out, there.” She presses the back of a warm hand to Lena’s forehead, which, honestly, does not help Lena compose herself.'
Lena gets into an accident, and Kara saves her life. As one does.
But when Cadmus starts gunning for Lena, she finds herself stuck with the extended Danvers-Kent-Lane-Schott-Olsen family for the holidays.
She supposes, though, that she'll have to make the best of it.(You do NOT need to read Maggie Sawyer's Guide before reading this, but I highly recommend it because the context makes the dynamics better and the jokes funnier.)

Jess shifted nervously as she glanced at Lena’s face to see what her boss would do. Lena glanced at the headline in bold with a deep sigh.

Summary
Lillian and Lex Luthor have teamed up to take down and destroy Lena. Lena has been receiving threats of harm and death in various forms including a singing telegram, sky writing, and a note attached to a drugged CatCo Worldwide Media employee.
Lena is reluctant to seek assistance from Supergirl due to the recent rift between them but she decides to confide in Kara. Kara begs her to let her have Supergirl come and protect her but Lena refuses saying that she could never trust her to protect her without bias.
Kara’s growing feelings for Lena have only been complicating matters. Over the last few months Lena has awoken desires in Kara that are undeniable. Each moment they spend together, she feels like they are getting closer. She wants with all of her heart to tell her how much she loves her. All she wants is to finally pull her close and kiss her.
Now Kara must decide if she will come out as Supergirl to protect Lena or if she will keep her secret?

Lena smiled wryly at her assistant and then opened the door to her office, taking off her jacket with one hand as she went. She had just folded her jacket over an arm and was shutting the door behind her when she turned and nearly screamed. Covering her mouth with one hand to stop the strangled sound she'd just made, Lena saw there was blood smeared over the glass door from the balcony, and there, in all her blond glory, was none other than Supergirl lying on her couch, unconscious and bleeding.
Freezing for only a moment in shock, Lena quickly rushed over to see if there was something she could do to help, and saw that a knife, glowing an evil green, was embedded in Supergirl's side.

Lena Luthor is having a bad day, and then Supergirl turns up in her office bleeding from a Kryptonite knife wound and refuses to let anyone else help her.(Honestly, the start sounds a little scary but really this is all fluff and cuteness.)

Crossing different cultural barriers even amongst Earthlings can be a tricky business, but then throw aliens from different planets into the mix and suddenly you have a recipe for trouble. In other words, Lena accidentally proposes to Supergirl in Kryptonian customs and hijinks ensue.

This fic ended up talking a lot from Lena's POV and in general showcases Lena being a super-businesswoman (like an office work fic basically). Roughly takes place in season 2. One chapter has rated E content and has been labeled as such, all other chapters are T.
