Summary
Five years. That's how long it's been since Dean Winchester left behind the desert battlefield and the Air Force Captain who enthralled him, Castiel Novak. Their paths crossed when Dean's Ranger unit was tasked with rescuing him from the enemy. After saving Novak's life, Dean's assignment ended and he went home. That was the last and only time they saw each other... but no matter how much time passed, Dean couldn't get Novak and his stupid blue eyes out of his head.
