It was supposed to be a normal day at work. Just clean the streets like everyday, no interruptions, no disturbances, just like it's supposed to be. Fate, apparently, had very very different plans for you.
"The Freak Circus of Horrors" decided to come to your town, littering every nook and cranny with flyers, and, of course, you had to be the one to clean up after them. However, even if you have to put in some extra hours, at least you'd get paid more, and that was all! It luckily wasn't some life-changing event for you, after all!
Actually, it wouldn't have been one, or rather, it shouldn't have been one, if only you hadn't gotten their interest. How did you manage to do that? You didn't even go into the circus!

Summary
You are just a disgruntled barista who is trying to make rent while dealing with your family who makes your life living hell on top of the customers that you receive. While closing up one night, right at few minutes before close.....a customer comes in wanting a cup of coffee. Who orders coffee that late at night? This weird customer of yours ends up catching your eye as you want to simply run away, and he has an offer..... will you take that offer?

Summary

Aster Loxley wakes up in The Freak Circus two months before Day 1, in a body that is not entirely human, in an apartment she did not rent, with a job she did not apply for and a script she has memorized by heart. She has a plan: stay quiet, stay hidden, let the protagonist have her story and help her when needed.
The plan does not survive the morning she sees a red clown shoved to the ground in the street.
