Summary
*This is who I am,* Lando declared internally, staring into his own eyes in the glass. *I'm Lando Norris. I like loud music, I like partying, I like girls, and I like winning. I do not stay awake at night pining over my Australian teammate like some tragic, desperate romantic.*
___
81 days. No lies. No exceptions.
It started as a joke in a quiet hotel room after Zandvoort, a reckless bet between two teammates who thought they had nothing to hide. The rule was simple: total, unvarnished honesty. They could walk away or refuse to answer, but they couldn’t lie.
At first, it’s just banter and bad complaints about team PR, but somewhere between midnight hotel rooms, shared flights, and the pressure of a championship fight, the questions get a little too real. Stripped of telemetry traces and media-trained answers, Lando begins to realize that total transparency is dangerous.
Because some truths are easy to ignore, until you’re forced to say them out loud.
Or: A slow-burn Landoscar fanfiction about one terrible idea, two teammates, and eighty-one days of honesty.
