She’ll be trying that “role” 9S assigned her, which was… Dominant? She had to play along with the dominant role. When 9S talked about the various “roles” they could try together, there weren’t any particular ones she was drawn to, so she had to ask him what he wanted her to be.
”To be honest,” 9S says in her memory, ”I liked it when you ordered me around all cold and unemotional. It’s weird, right?” He looked back at what he was reading. ”So, I want you to be dominant with me. And I’ll be your… Submissive! How does that sound?”
She didn’t really desire to act distant again, as she had so long ago, but if that’s what 9S wanted to happen, she’d let it happen. Try something new – or old, in this case – And see if she liked it.
