Taking in a clutch of Nadder Natchings, the Riders expected dealing with an onslaught of stray spines, fire, and squwaks that kept them up through the night.
What they didn't expect, was for one little hatchling to remind them so strongly of their leader.
It all unravelled from there.

It starts small—Stoick and the riders notice how Hiccup tilts his head the same way Toothless does, or how Toothless mimics Hiccup’s little huffs of annoyance. Soon, they realize the two don’t just fight together—they move together, eat together, pout together, and even share the same smug expressions. Berk can’t decide if it’s funny, adorable, or slightly concerning, but one thing is certain: boy and dragon have officially become two halves of the same mischievous coin.
