He flicks through the folder, though he purposefully tilts it so that TK can't see what's inside. After a few seconds, Carlos pulls out a printed photo. It's got writing on the back that's partially covered by Carlos' hand, but TK can make out the number five scrawled in sharpie. Carlos looks at him and hesitates before flipping the photo for TK to see. "I need you to remember that you're safe here, alright?" he says.
Safe? TK thinks. It didn't exactly occur to him to question that, but then he looks down at the photo in Carlos' hands and gasps. The picture is of him in what is clearly their apartment building's lobby. He's waiting on the elevator with a grocery bag in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other, completely oblivious to the fact that he's being photographed.

A few months into their marriage, life throws TK and Carlos a curveball in the form of a stalker. Carlos decides to do the only thing he knows how to: he's going to protect his husband, no matter what it takes.

Hen nodded solemnly. “One of the many people who wouldn’t even acknowledge me when I started.”
It was news to Eddie, and apparently Ravi too, but not Cap, who resolutely stared down at the table in front of him, shaking his head.
“Oh, so he fucking sucks.” Ravi contributed casually, never one to pull punches with his thoughts.
No one responded, but the agreement was in the air.

Summary
Sighing, Eddie checks the desk again, about to abandon the cause when sees something wedged in the back. Trying to get a hold of the paper stuck behind a book, Eddie tugs at it forcefully and steps back with a yelp. He looks down and sees his finger’s got a fine line of blood emerging, and he sucks it into his mouth as he opens up the paper.
“Chris? Is this what you’re looking for?” He hands the paper over, and Chris snatches it while he reads it over, squinting, before gasping and shoving it into his bag.
“Yes! Let’s go, I’m late!” He grabs his crutches and speeds out of there, and Eddie slumps his shoulders before chasing after him with a curse as he glances at his watch.
That’s how his day starts. It only goes downhill from there.

The Diaz boys are having a rough day. Lucky for them, they meet a firefighter at the 118 who's determined to do anything he can to make them smile. It works, it really, really works.

Summary
That’s how TK finds himself sitting on the curb outside the bar with the two girls beside him, icing his hand as they wait for the cops.
“So what about your boyfriend? He in there? Should we go get him?” the first girl asks.
“Nah. But I hope he’ll be here in a second.” He really does hope so. Because any other officer might not be as understanding as his boyfriend.
The only thing that made this whole thing worse was that he feels weirdly like his dad—like father, like son, he guesses. Though that sentence had probably not been said with punching people in the face in mind. And it only makes him feel worse.
OR
TK deals with confusing feelings about his father and learns that he deserves to be trusted, no matter what his father thinks.

He felt about two seconds away from breaking every hour of every day, like someone had stepped up in front of him, shoved him down, smashed the life he’d been working on, and left him to rebuild from the ground up.
And so, really, the last thing he needed when he got home at the end of a long shift was to find a massive, weird-ass dog curled up on his front porch. And yet, there it was.
