Summary
One morning, Atsumu is gone before the sun rises.
No note. No smell on the pillow. Just a cherry pit in the ashtray and a voice message that cuts off after three seconds.
Kiyoomi listens to it anyway.
Every day.And then one night, he comes back.
Wasted. Shivering. Moonlight in his hair.Bookmarked by JiU_0302

Summary
Atsumu’s cigarette burns slow, the ember trembling in the midnight wind, like it’s afraid to vanish before him. He leans against the railing, the glow casting his face in amber, a little too pretty for the hour.
“You’re gonna die early,” Sakusa says from behind, voice quiet, not judgmental. Just… observing, like he always does.

Summary
The first time Atsumu touched Sakusa’s hand, it was by accident. Or at least, it could be passed off that way. Their knuckles brushed in the quiet of the locker room, where the fluorescent light hummed and the rest of the team’s laughter was muffled behind heavy doors. Sakusa had been pulling his gloves tighter, fingers precise, patient, and Atsumu had reached across the bench at the same time. The contact was brief, so quick that it could dissolve in memory if Sakusa wanted it.

Summary
Atsumu broke the silence, voice low and teasing again, though softer now, almost tender. “You know… I could get used to this. Just being… here. Like this. With you.”

Summary
They lived like strangers playing lovers. Or maybe it was the other way around.
“You always do this,” Atsumu said without turning around, exhaling slow, like it meant something. “You shut down when I get too close. Like I'm some kind of disease.”
Sakusa didn’t answer right away. He never did. He watched the condensation slide down his glass, the way the water left a mark on the coffee table — temporary, but visible. Just like Atsumu.
“You like chasing ghosts,” Sakusa said finally. “I’m not one of them."
Atsumu smiled, bitter and gold. “Aren’t you?”
And when they kissed, it was never soft. It was desperate. Like they were trying to forget where they were, who they were, how none of it ever felt enough.
The thing is — Atsumu loved too loudly. And Sakusa loved too late.Bookmarked by JiU_0302
