Summary
On Instagram, Jiwoo had posted a photo of herself just about to kick Kyujin in the face, her foot a blurry missile inches away from Kyujin's head. Kyujin wore the resigned look of a woman who knew exactly what was about to happen. Jiwoo bore a grin that was, to Kyujin, extremely uncomplicated.
The caption said: night night ❤️
“I am going to find her and end her," said Kyujin.
“You will literally fight her at 5 PM tomorrow."
“And then I’ll end her.”

Summary
In 2037, President Park Jihyo leads the Republic of Korea. And across Seoul, Tokyo, and Taipei, the former members of TWICE are now diplomats, journalists, and legislators, trying their best not to become strangers.
They call each other between meetings, eat dinner alone in hotel rooms, and long for the group chats they used to have.
None of them more than Chou Tzuyu, who still remembers what happened when she waved a flag in 2015, and wonders whether some distances can still be crossed after all this time.
A TWICE ensemble/character study fic featuring POVs from all 9 members.

Mina: Why are you thinking about koi at 5am, Momo.
Momo: okay it’s NOT a big deal but I hung out with Minatozaki-san last night and we talked about her koi a little bit
Mina: Are we going to talk about that or are you just going to recite koi facts?
Momo: did you know the most expensive koi sold for ¥200M
Mina: unsubscribe

“I know you don’t love me,” Jinsol says. It comes out smaller than she intends it to — voice shaky, lip trembling slightly — but then again, she hadn’t meant for it to come out at all.

“Did you hear that Haewon’s going to confess to someone tomorrow?” Lily asks.
“Oh yeah, I did hear people talking about that,” Jinsol says casually. “I kind of figured that she was just like. Going to make it official.”
Lily’s eyes bug out. “With who?”
Jinsol breaks out into laughter. Lily stares at her, confused.
“Oh,” Jinsol says. “Oh my god. You’re serious?”
[5 times Lily and her friends try to figure out who Haewon is going to confess to, and the 1 time that Haewon confesses.]

Kyujin turns so she can see Jiwoo in full, the profile of her nose and lips and jaw hazy in the low light. In the dark her eyes cannot make out the specifics, but she knows them well; the atlas in her mind for Jiwoo is full, overflowing.

Summary
“It’s like a high school thing in Western culture! Actually, it’s more of a thing that middle and elementary schoolers do, but it still means the same thing! Like you carve your initials with a heart into the tree together, because you want to last forever with them.”
Haewon furrows her brow. That actually does sound cute, but she can’t fathom that Lily’s silly post-it would have that much meaning laden into it when it looks so simple and insignificant.
“Okay,” Haewon says.
“Haewon-ah!” Lily says. She actually stomps her foot. Haewon melts. She loves it when Lily calls her that.
“Yes,” she says, softer.
The corner of Lily’s lips twitch like she’s sensed it, but she doesn’t back down.
or: lily’s attempt at birthday flirting fails miserably. she absolutely can’t stand for this.

Summary
“I- No- I didn’t say that-!” Sana panicked, shaking her head so fast her glasses nearly flew off her face, "It’s not that either, it’s just- I don’t think about it like that, I swear-”
“God, you’re really bad at this.” Mina murmured, her smile widening.
Before Sana could react, Mina stepped closer and reached out, fingers brushing through Sana’s hair in a quick, patronising ruffle, like she was praising a well meaning but hopeless puppy.
“It’s okay,” Mina cooed, "You don’t have to explain yourself to me.”
Sana stood there, stunned, face burning, hands still uselessly hovering over her crotch as Mina withdrew.
Mina slung her purse over her shoulder and turned toward the door, pausing just long enough to glance back and smile.
“See you around, Sana.”
