Summary
The story starts when Elizabeth and Maria are staying at the Parsonage at Hunsford. It diverges from canon when Elizabeth receives a package from her father - a copy of the new novel Sense and Sensibility. They start reading it together and this leads to insights into characters and events which had previously been misunderstood. This prevents Darcy making a disastrous proposal in Kent. The pathway is slightly different but they will get their happy ending.
Be aware that there are major plot spoilers for Sense and Sensibility if you have not already read this!

Summary
The marriage of convenience fic no one asked for.
The morning after the Netherfield Ball, while Mr Collins is proposing to Elizabeth, Mr Bennet collapses. With her father unconscious and apparently near death, her mother pressuring her to marry Mr Collins, and the gentleman himself ignoring her protests, suddenly saying 'no' is not so easy. Faced with poverty and homelessness if she continues refusing, the gossip soon reaches Netherfield that she will have to marry Mr Collins. Just as Mr Darcy is about to mount his horse and follow Mr Bingley to London, never to return, he overhears the servants talking. The thought of Elizabeth married to a fool like Mr Collins is unbearable to him, and he resolves to make her a better offer. But, when she refuses him, he finds that he's willing to do anything for love - even marry her without the hope of being with her.

[COMPLETED] AU in which Lorelai and Luke meet as teenagers aka what if Luke was Rory's father. This story will follow Luke and Lorelai from the moment they meet, through their relationship, teenage pregnancy, and eventually Luke and Lorelai as young parents.
Later chapters focus also on Rory growing up, her friendship with Jess, Lane, Logan and Paris, as well as her romance with Logan.

Clean towels are unfurling at his shoulders, and individually wrapped toilet paper rolls are pooled at his feet. It is an odd situation that only gets odder when Lorelai realizes that this person, this trespasser, is angry at her.
“You know,” he all but growls, “you really shouldn’t put so much stuff on these shelves. It’s a death trap waiting to happen.”
She looks him up and down pointedly. “Yes, I’ve heard that being crushed by towels is the second-leading cause of death in America, right between cancer and heart disease.”

Elizabeth Bennet thought Fitzwilliam Darcy, her friend Georgiana’s brother, was the most wonderful, handsomest man in the entire world. When he went to India to fight Britain’s enemies, she made him promise to write her along with Georgie regularly. There wasn’t anything improper, since Georgiana and she had sworn to be sisters. When Elizabeth and Georgiana learned that Fitzwilliam was captured, they kept writing letters to him, so that when he was released, he would know that he had not been forgotten by those who loved him.
