Dr. O'heary is a family counselor and licensed psychologist who helps families reconnect. She has started seeing both Luke and Jess for individual sessions, at the end of which she asks both of them about their past with each other. I.E. their relationship up to the point when Jess was sent to stay with Luke. I.E., the Luke & Jess Chronicles.
Also Jess is figuring out a new relationship with Rory, Luke and Lorelai are doing what they always do, and typical Stars Hallow shenanigans go on in the background, as is life in the Gilmore Girls universe.

Between starting a new job as a teacher at Chilton and being a single mom, Rory has sworn off dating (at least until Lola's twenty or so) but as old flames alight anew and throw her off balance, Rory finds herself wondering if maybe, just maybe, right person, right time, could finally apply to her and the man she's always harbored feelings for even after all those years.

Jess hadn't intended to get a job in a Hartford bookstore, but Taylor Doose had made sure nobody in Stars Hollow would take him on. Paris is doing research for an extracurricular project and realises Jess might be the missing piece.
Set in the beginning of season 3, runs parallel to the show. Inspired by Paris and Jess' dynamic in 'There's The Rub'

Summary
When Jess moved to Stars Hollow, he had a dark past with even darker characters in it. However, now that Dean has broken up with Rory (for some unforeseen reason) this past comes back to haunt him as he tries to push it away and move on. Dean, on the other hand, is spiraling uncontrollably about the emotions he feels and this spiral hits an all time low when he and Jess screw for the first time.

At age 33, Odette “Dottie” Gilmore writes, edits and proceeds to publish her own book, a book that tells her own story, one that was erased from the public eye. A story about a Gilmore Girl that was essentially deleted for convenience, the youngest Gilmore, the one that was wiped out of pages in a book that was supposed to be all about family and true to life.This is that book.

On her nightstand sat her water bottle, the book Mommy read to her last night, and a framed photo of her birthday, her with Mommy and Wory, all smiling.
Finally, her gaze lifted to the woman holding her, and the world steadied. Her mommy. Her beautiful, sleepy-eyed mommy, looking down at her with eyes the brightest blue, filled with love so big it made Ellie’s chest ache. Her hair was messy from sleep, curls falling every which way, and freckles dotted her cheeks and neck like little stars Ellie liked to count.
