Gen had a show today. It was in Tokyo, near enough that Senku would have been able to go if he weren't in school. That being said, he wasn't in the best mood that day.
To keep his mind off it, he was making gasoline out of bottle caps; he had no reason in particular; truthfully, he just wanted to. Maybe he would tell Taiju it was a love potion just to watch him pour it down the sink, for science, of course.
Or, an AU where Senku and Gen met as children.

shigami Senku wasn't a fan of Asagiri Gen; in fact, he hates magic and everything related to it.
That's why he decides to find out how Gen performs each of his tricks, and when he can't find the answer to one of them, he decides the most logical thing to do is sending a message to the magician and ask him how he did it.Asagiri Gen has no idea who is the person that started messaging him demanding to know how to perform one of his magic tricks.
All he knows is that this person is very interesting.Or; Gen and Senku start exchanging messages, forming a friendship and something else.

Killua sat bolt upright and fumbled his grip on the game, suddenly wide awake. How could Gon say something like that with a straight face? How could he use that word so casually? He cursed inwardly as his character fell to his death and tossed the console onto the pillows.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
Gon just blinked at him, entirely unbothered. "You don't gotta be so rude about it. I said, would you still love me if I was a worm?

Summary
Even as an owlet, Stolas could recognise that familiar sense of pain and longing, abandonment and mistrust wedged deep beneath Blitzø's callous mask. Given a second chance at friendship in adulthood, he would be damned if he lost him again. It was never his intention to become hopelessly attached, but it's always been in his nature. He just wanted to help his Blitzy find a release.
Blitzø was out of options. Given the choice of fight or flight, he was always wobbling precariously on the fence and knew the fall on the wrong side was inevitable. So how was he to know that tumbling off said fence and over a certain Goetic balcony would be both the best and most heartbreaking of his life. After all, he had no-one left to disappoint but himself…right?
Commitment issues and self-loathing notwithstanding, this is a story of finding your soulmate in impossible places, getting bitch-slapped with the consequences, and being drawn into each other's orbit anyway.

He didn't even notice when his eyesight turned so blurry and cheeks became so wet.
“I-” He quickly turned his face away. He was about to brush it all off, cover up his face in such a pathetic moment, wipe off all the involuntary tears…
But then he noticed the genuine worry in the other boy’s face.
Senku took a sharp breath in and stood up, shaking his head. He came to the window and took a closer look outside.
He needs to sound convincing while turning his worries away.
Every light in the village has shut off. The villagers, the people that Senku is responsible for during the day, are all asleep now.
So what is even the point in putting up such bravado, when he desperately needs just a moment of vulnerability?or, stargazing with Chrome reminded Senku of the nights spent with his late father and opened up a bleeding wound that he decided to address for once.
