Summary
Dino never expected his life to change at a DMV window.
In the Anthrostate, assignments are mandatory, affection is regulated, and paperwork decides who belongs to whom. One number called over a crackling loudspeaker later, Dino finds himself matched with Jackie Livingston: a towering, hot-headed hyena boxer with a motorcycle, a temper, and a reputation that makes State clerks flinch. What starts as a bureaucratic transaction quickly turns into something far more personal as Dino is pulled into Jackie’s loud, chaotic, unexpectedly warm orbit.
