“Yes.” A tension she had been carrying in her shoulders since that day without even realising suddenly released. This was a strange turn of events, no doubt about that, but at least she wasn’t losing her mind. Yet.
“Why?”
“I-” The unmoving stone face managed somehow managed to be sheepish. “I am not sure. Because you heard me, I suppose. It has been a long time since anyone heard me.”
