a person or thing of very great strength, intellect, or importance.Titans. Long gone extinct, these colossal island-sized beasts once stalked the Demon Realm’s boiling oceans, their remains making up the continents of the planet. Regarded as gods, it’s known that the flesh decayed from their bodies is what spawned all life on all these archipelagos. The Titans’ history are a pure enigma to all, some saying it’s no one's place to know, others saying their past shall never be found through their disappearance.
However, this perspective is limited to common folk. Titan history is much more rich than any would think, as it’s preserved on an island hidden from the outsider’s reach. Concealed since the vanishing of the monumental gods.
This land would stay hidden for eons. That is, until the paramount guard of Emperor Belos, a tyrant who claims to speak for the deceased Titan King, is accidentally taken to the hallowed island. What could go wrong!

"Maybe I won’t try to pick you up again for a bit.”
A bit. As if in time, Luz's ability to pick King up might improve, rather than continue to deteriorate. He had known this day was coming; he had noticed the increasingly strained breaths Luz let out when she tried to carry him for long periods of time, the wobble as he began to run out of space on her shoulders. Rather than perch securely on one arm, he had to awkwardly curl around her back, digging his nails in a manner uncomfortable for both. Really, he should have stopped trying to fit a year before.
“It’s okay,” he said softly. “I’ve been too big for a while.”

“Hunter, did my sermons mean nothing to you? Did you not listen? To have you talk so freely of wild magic, it wounds me.”His voice was almost gentle but the grip he had on the boy’s chin spoke of fury in his heart. Hunter tried to regulate his breathing, to appear composed while facing the scorn but he could not hide his fear at his uncle's words. He had failed him once again.
“Uncle, I-I only wanted to help! I can finally educate myself properly on what ails you, I can be of assistance if you let me!”

Summary
Waking up from death is never a pleasant experience, but when the itch of Luz traveling through the time pools drags the Titan into wakefulness after centuries of slumber, it clings to existence like a starving witch. And for some reason, it can only see through Luz’s eyes.
Luz doesn’t know why she’s the only one that can hear the Titan’s voice, but since it apparently has no idea what the state of the Isles are nowadays, she has an equally clueless companion to experience the demon realm with! What could go wrong?
