About the Deal series
“The Deal” was originally written in 2006 as a first-person, one-shot PWP in response to another author’s PWP that I can no longer find. Readers asked for a sequel, which ended up being five mini-sequels. Originally posted as six separate ficlets, it made more sense to post them together here as one fic, using the individual names of the ficlets as chapter titles. The tone of this story is less serious and more humorous than “Stranded,” but the main Yautja character is darker and less honorable, at least to begin with. This is the couple the hunt leader mentions to Michelle in Chapter 23 of “Stranded,” but they are otherwise unrelated to the events and characters in “Stranded.” I had a lot of fun writing these.
